Ronny’s Thoughts

It is as the title says. What would you rather have? IS a world of fiction more appealing than that of reality? I you could change and shape reality to what ever you wanted would you? Better question yet how would you?

Now this is a topic that I cam across while in a conversation in school. The reason why I decided to actually write about such a topic is because I after comparing two situations (one fiction, one real). I then asked “Are real events so surprising because we don’t expect them in real life? And do we expect so much from fiction that nothing is a surprise?”

Now if that wasn’t a philosophical sounding question than I don’t know what is.

We constantly try to escape reality to avoid many things. One of them (and I think that everything leads to this) is a mental brake down. Its like they say all work and no play… I don’t remember how the original ends but you get the idea. You can basically say anything after that. Now this can be seen as quote to promote lethargic actions. Or it can be a remedy for those that have become brain dead worker zombies. Living day in and day out simply to do the bidding of others. Yes I do realize that its a bit of an expirations but thats what I do.

Now it is good to have fun with fantasy and stuff. But (yes there is always a “BUT”) what about when fantasy warps your mind to the same level of insanity? Yes thats rite there is alway too much of a good thing. some people lose touch with reality in a bad way where they begin to think that fantasy is reality. When this happens its too late for that person. They will never be the same again. Now I am not saying that fantasy is unhealthy thing to get addicted to. Its just how you get addicted that matters. For example those that make movies and stuff have a very clear understanding of what fiction and reality is. The stay sane because they jobs are fun so they don’t need all the drab back stuff.

Ok I am done with this topic mainly because I think that if I keep writing i will just be going in circles. But hay do feel free flame (geek talk for massive amounts of reply rants on how everything I say is bullshit BS)

Well in case u have not noticed i have started to put ads on the blog. This is a step forward in my book (the blog). Now I am not going to ask that you click on them because if I do I get in trouble and then some othere stuff.

The thing that I am going to ask, is what you think about the fact that I am commercializing myself. Funny how that term is both good and bad, because if you think about it its like i am selling myself. Yet at the same time when you think about it we do that every time we go for an interview for a job or anything for that matter.
